What is your idea of a perfect Mother’s Day gift?

• Flowers?
• Candy?
• Jewelry?

Dan doesn’t get me flowers now, although I love them. My cat destroys them. The only place I can keep them away from her is in the bathroom!

Candy? I have some health conditions and need to continue to lose weight.

Jewelry? I love earrings, but I have more than enough.

After all, I am very practical. I still have that blower and use it now in my garage when leaves and dust blow in.

One year I asked for a Rhumba.

• Another very practical gift.
• We have a 70-pound indoor dog and an indoor cat which keeps that Rhumba very busy.
• The cat turns it on and watches it so that’s helpful.
