Do You Like To Share?
One way we taught our children to share was to ask this question: What Do Sather’s Do Best?
Everyone knew the answer, and they all shouted, Share!
We probably did this a dozen times or more over the parenting years.
Today I’m sharing some recent thoughts and ideas that I think will benefit you.
The Teaching 2.0 Summit
Check out this FREE homeschool summit. There are some big-name homeschool instructors speaking, and it looks like it will be a very positive and growing experience that you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home at a time that you are available. Did I mention that it’s FREE!
FREE fonts that you can use commercially
Do you love new fonts as much as I do?
Jill has listed over 70 fonts available for many uses, even commercially. Set aside some time to explore them and get some free.
Corona Virus
This is not such a fun one, but he seems to offer sound advice without going overboard.

Woodworking
When our son was about 13, he got restless trying to complete schoolwork. We homeschooled and wanted to find a better way for him to learn.
Our son-in-law would remodel our bathrooms, build a deck, tile the kitchen and entryway, and put a small kitchen area in our basement.
We asked if he would like Eric to work with him and train him in the different projects he would do at our home.
It was a good fit. Lance is a perfectionist, so they did everything really well. I would hear him ask questions about the best way to do something and then help him with small changes to make it better.
But then what…
Eric learned dozens of skills that he can put to use now that he’s married and has a baby.
He went to college and is a computer tech. He has a job, but he also has the skills he needs to get his house fixed the way he wants.
This site is about a young man named Arthur who was introduced to woodworking by his grandfather.
I’m not suggesting that you need to do either of these things with your sons, but I would like to open your hearts to hands-on learning for boys.
Eric worked in our house for 18 months. Then he finished high school and went to college. He graduated at the top of his class and given a job from the place he did his internship.
God’s got this!
