Proverbs 29:18 says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” KJ
[Tweet “The definition of vision in Scripture is a revelation from God.”]
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 ESV
The Lord has a plan for each of us as individuals and for each of our families. It’s important for us to recognize that the Lord put us in families, not just so He would have someplace to store us until we were ready to get out on our own, but because He has a plan for each family, as well as each individual.
Our task is to discover what the Lord’s plan is. He doesn’t reveal His plan for our entire lives, or even our entire year all at once – don’t we wish – but He reveals it to us day by day as we walk with Him and seek Him and His way.
These things will look different in each of our lives, but they are important, so you can expect a lot of opposition from our enemy.
“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” 1Pe 5:8 ESV

This is so true. God doesn’t tell us the whole plan up front. It’s a daily walk with him. I loved this post.
