In southern states like Georgia, when God gives you snow you build a snowman.
The same is true in the northern states, like Minnesota. But when God gives you LOTS of snow… You make a BIG snowman!
Minnesota Snowman
They call him Granddaddy – his arms are a 61 foot grain elevator. The eyes are plywood – 4 feet wide by 6 feet high. The nose is a 55 gallon barrel; the smile is 10 feet wide. The scarf is about 80 feet long, the broom is about 35 feet high. The buttons are garbage can covers.
I’m not quite sure why we needed that much snow this winter, but like true Minnesotans we made good use of it.
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19 KJV
