The Most Important Question You will Ever Answer

The most important question

Everyone will have to answer this question.

There will be no exceptions!

Kings to commoners – all will have to answer.

What is this question?

What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ?

[Tweet “What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ?”]

Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.” Matthew 27:22 (KJV)

These Scriptures will show you how to accept Christ.

  • “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:16-18, NKJV).
  • “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” (John 17:3, NKJV).

Admit that you are a sinner.

  • “…all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” — (Romans 3:23, NKJV).

Man was made for fellowship with God, but our sin separates us and leads to death. What will you do with this Jesus?

  • “For the wages of sin is death…” — (Romans 6:23a, NKJV).

Salvation is a free gift.

  • “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” — (Ephesians 2:8-10, NKJV).
  • “…if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” — Romans 10:9-10, NKJV

If you have decided to place your faith in Jesus Christ I recommend you do these things in order to grow in your faith.

  • Tell someone. If you don’t know who to tell, feel free to tell me. You may email me privately if you like.
  • Find a Bible-teaching church and begin to fellowship with other believers.
  • Read the Bible, start with the Gospel of John.
  • Pray, ask the Lord to strengthen you.

“I have studied many religions, many different persuasions of thought in Christian belief, and I have come, in this experience to this: the most important question in anyone’s life is the question asked by poor Pilate in Matthew 27:22: ‘What shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called Christ?’ No Other question in the whole sweep of human experience is as important as this. It is the choice between life and death, between meaningless existence and life abundant. What will you do with Christ? Accept Him and life, or reject Him and die? What else is there? Dale Evans”

What is your answer? Will you choose life or death?
