Why Write the Vision?
Because we forget.
Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. (KJV) Proverbs 29:18
Do you have trouble remembering all the Lord has done for you?
Scripture is full of examples of the Lord reminding His people of His faithfulness. He tells us over and over that He will never leave us or forsake us, yet for most of us we begin to doubt at the first sign of trouble.
“Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He, Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5
That is why it is important for us to constantly remind ourselves of God’s times of faithfulness so that we can refer back to them and remember that our God is and always will be faithful.
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.” Isaiah 43:2
My life is a living testimony of the Lord’s faithfulness.
[Tweet “My life is a living testimony of the Lord’s faithfulness.”]
I hope to share much of my past as well as the ongoing story of the Lord’s faithfulness to me and my family – to help to remind you that we are all ordinary women who serve an extraordinary God.
In my roles as wife, mother, homeschool mother, grandmother, and yes, great-grandmother, author, and speaker, I plan to keep my focus on the Lord’s faithfulness and to share those times to encourage you to do the same.

Hi Phyllis,
Wow. I just spent the last 20 minutes reading your website! God has done a beautiful work in your life, and you clearly give Him the glory for it! Thank you for telling your story. I am sure it is a wonderful tool in God’s hands for drawing women to Himself!
I came to your website to say I’m praying for your surgical procedure tomorrow! I am praying for the doctor, that this procedure would be successful in relieving your pain, and that your recovery will go quickly.
May God continue to bless you!

Hi Kim,
Thanks for stopping by and for your kind words. I really appreciate your prayers. I know what a difference they make. I feel a bit like I’m “nesting” – instead of getting ready for a new baby I’m getting ready to turn the household over to the girls for awhile. They do a great job once I get out of the way. Not “doing” isn’t an easy thing for me.
We continue to hold you guys up in prayer.
