For years my husband has been doodling every time he has to sit and listen for any length of time – sermons, teachings, school. One time our pastor thought he was taking great notes, until he saw his doodling. Over the years, 24 in July, I’ve come to think of it as art.
Art or doodles… you decide.

I guess art is winning so far. Yes, Joy, my husband is a doctor. This batch of art was done while he was at his yearly Internal Medicine update at the Mayo Clinic.
I haven’t framed any, but have scrapbooked some. I scanned them in and resized them so I could fit several on a 12 X 12 page.
Jenny, I’ll have to think about a coloring book – that thought never occured to me.
I can’t wait to show Dan your all your comments tonight.

Art. ;D

Art for sure.
These would make a very fun coloring book, in my mind!

WOW!! Your husband is amazingly talented, Phyllis. Definitely ART! I agree with Joy, though–flashbacks of my days in Nursing school and Microbiology classes!!

Those are fantastic! I would definitely label them as art. I agree with Michelle, too. My first thought when viewing the slide show was that they looked like something you would view under a microscope. Didn’t you say your husband was a doctor? Have you ever framed any of them? I love to see that kind of personal art in people’s homes.

Wow! Definitely art! Anybody who can draw a perfect circle repeatedly has got to be an artist. (grin!) I love all of them. They are very reminiscent of microscope slides, with cross-sections of plants, bacteria chains, etc. Very cool indeed. Thanks for sharing!
