View from our family room
In Minnesota we say, “If you don’t like the weather just wait, it’ll change.” And change it did. We’ve been having temperatures in the high 40’s and 50’s, and all our snow was gone, then yesterday a blizzard hit. We’ve already gotten about 8 inches of snow and it’s still snowing.
It’s heavy, wet snow and beautiful to see. I’m including several photos so all of my warm weather friends can see what’s happening here.

It’s been rather a different spring. We are shoveling out from a blizzard and making maple syrup all at the same time. It’s been warm enough that the sap is running and now we’re getting all this snow.

Happy spring!

I found you through BlogRush.
Nice photos, and nice looking blog, but I am glad there is no snow here in the Lower Mainland of BC.
Russ:)
Phyllis, WOW! I kept reading about your snow, but well….I just couldn’t imagine it. When I saw the pictures, I thought WHOA! Now THAT’S a lot of snow! Too much for me. I am going to take some pics today of what we are dealing with here (hint: we have had to have our a/c running for over a week). Will be fun to see the contrast. =)
=)
Hi Phyllis,
It was fun to see your photos after arriving home tonight from a couple of days in Miami Beach, attending a conference with my husband. What a contrast!
On our drive home to central Florida , we enjoyed one of our signs of spring – a sweet aroma of orange blossoms that was strong enough to smell with our car windows closed.
