Yes, that’s me.
- I always have half-a-dozen of them started.
- One for homemaking.
- To-dos for my website.
- Things I need to talk to Dan about.
- Of course, there is one for each of my children, Eric, Emily, and Rebekah.
- One for myself.
- You name it, I have a list for it.
I thought Google Calendar would be a good answer for me.
- It does give me an overview of the month or week.
- Color coding helps to know who is doing what.
- There just isn’t enough room in those tiny boxes to add any detail.
- Therefore I had lists of details of what needed to be done and when.
Paper Planners
- I always look at them, then tell myself no.
- I went from a paper planner to Google Calendar.
- But I couldn’t seem to make it work for me.
So…
- After much turmoil and prayer
- And hearing so many good things about the Blog Well Planner
- I decided to give it a try.

What I love about the Blog Well Planner
- I think I finally got it right.
- Using Google Calendar gives me a view of the big picture for family and blogging.
- I color code them.
- This helps me to see if I might be overbooking myself or family.
- I can easily see family and business commitments at the same time.
- Then I use the Blog Well Planner to flesh things out.
- I’m learning to use time-blocking, which is really helping me to use my days better.

- There is enough room to spread out my thoughts and ideas.
- They are all in one place, not spread out all over my desk like the first photo.
- I still tend to jot things down on a sticky pad but only until I can put it in its proper place in the Blog Well Planner.
