This is why I rarely post something that has been forwarded to me.
After posting this I found out that David Barton did speak on Dr. Charles Stanley’s program “In Touch” as a guest speaker – but he didn’t say these things.
I apologize. I should have verified the facts before sending them out to you. I certainly will make every effort to do better in the future.
That said, I think whoever wrote this should take credit for it and I believe that it does echo the thoughts of many conservative Christians today.
