This has been a strange week. I’ve just felt “off”. I know that isn’t much of a description, but it’s all I have. I have nothing to feel off about, everything is going well, so it seems strange that I would feel this way.
I have a lot to do with Emily, Rebekah and I leave Friday morning for a four-day writer’s retreat (Yeah! Thank you dear husband.), but I don’t feel like doing it.
So… I turned to the Lord, to His Word, to sitting quietly with Him, and letting Him minister to me.
And then to some of my favorite bloggers. I’ve given you links to some of them so you can be as blessed as I’ve been to read their helpful, hopeful messages.

What To Do When Your Marriage Is Falling Apart (or anything else for that matter)
And now, I’m going to lunch with my daughters, get a haircut, and do all those things I don’t feel like doing so I can be ready to leave on Friday.

How To Save Your Marriage Alone
Nice tips! I have been seeking for things like that for a while currently. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing! I think we all have a day like that once in a while.

Phyllis, as I was finishing my last comment, I noticed your Scripture at the top of your page, and thought this translation of the following verse might be something you would like to see…
Habakkuk 2:3 Living Bible (TLB) But these things I plan won’t happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, do not despair, for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient! They will not be overdue a single day!

That is exactly why I used that verse. Thank you for bringing it to my attention today. I know the Lord sent you to tell me that. I was wondering why I’m doing all this work. I need to be faithful and leave the results to the Lord.
Have a very blessed day. Feel free to stop by and encourage me anytime!

Phyllis, thank you for this open, honest, and transparent post…I know I have had those days when I felt “off”…one thing that helps me is to focus on Jesus, picture Him as my Good Shepherd out in the green pasture of the 23rd Psalm…I go to Him, climb up in His arms, and just rest. Many blessings to you!
