One morning a long, long time ago I opened my car door to discover an ad taped on my steering wheel. It was an old fishing hat with lots of lures on it and one button that read, “Together we’re better.”
I knew immediately who it was from and we’ve spent the last 35 years proving that we are better together. We’ve faced some hardships and have also had a lot of joy and we’ve done it all together.
Last year our son got married, so we’re sort of walking down memory lane as we look forward to them having their first child.
Weddings are expensive
Weddings are expensive so I wanted to share with you a way you will be able to save on the expense by doing some of the photography work yourself. I know for Eric this was one of the biggest expenses, but also one where he was able to save considerably by designing their own announcements and invitations.

Congratulations. We have been married 35 years also. And yes we have had our ups and our downs, but we learned early on that if we face them together and talk it out, we can usually solve what the issue is. Four years ago our oldest (33 now) married. He has a beautiful and sweet wife. She is a joy to have as a part of the family. Our youngest (31) is not interested in marriage at this time.
