Are you overwhelmed with all the things that need to be done in a day?
Do you find yourself wishing you could be in two (or three, or four) places at once?
What I do: Come alongside homeschooling parents who are exhausted or overwhelmed.
- Maybe you don’t have time to give all your children the individual attention a subject needs.
- Maybe your child is just not “getting it,” and a new approach is needed.
- Maybe your child is struggling and needs some extra patience, encouragement, and one-on-one time.
If that sounds like your family, I’d love to discuss how I can help meet your individual needs. I’m flexible with various schedules, subjects, and age ranges.
What I don’t do: Teach comprehensive courses, or provide curriculum and lesson plans.
Qualifications: I’ve had years of experience coming alongside homeschool parents, tutoring their children, and getting to know the unique challenges that homeschoolers face every day.
I was homeschooled myself. I’ve taught Sunday school for over a decade to several age ranges, as well as teaching ESL, karate, and piano. I currently work as an editor and proofreader on a freelance basis, and for a Christian publishing house.
One of my specific teaching passions is to find different approaches that work for children with different learning styles. For a long time I’ve felt that my calling in life is to help other people succeed. Homeschool parents are doing especially hard work, and they often don’t have the support and assistance that they need.
