A couple of months ago I was praying really hard for one of our young adults – don’t remember who or what, seems it’s seems to be a mom’s purpose to be praying for at least one of your children. Anyway in the middle of praying the thought came to me, “I’ve got this.” Then, “You’ve got this?” “Yes, I’ve got this.” I felt totally peaceful and decided that the Lord did indeed have this.
Since then every week or so I’ll run into a post or Face Book post or article with the words God’s got this, or the Lord has this – something to that effect.
Monday one of our young adults had a fender bender. I was a hundred miles from home but drove back for the day to help get everything settled with insurance and rent a vehicle so we would again have two.
After the we separated the child left for home and me to go back to Baxter, MN I sat in the car for a few minutes deciding what I was going to do next. I had asked if I should stay awhile longer but things were quite settled so I was going to leave.
I was checking my email to see if there was anything I needed to handle before I moved on. I get several devotional posts daily so I decided to pick one to read since I hadn’t had a quiet time yet. I scrolled down through them and choose to open this one:
Be Anxious for…Nothing
Rest in the peace that passes all understanding, that God has got this.
I didn’t even read the devotional until later.

This is a lesson we all seem to be learning day in and day out, isn’t it?!?! Blessed to be your neighbor at Coffee for you Heart tonight.
