Celebrating Our Freedom
Two kinds of freedom.
Can we have one without the other?
Woman2Woman has a great article on our freedoms from being an American. She also includes a prayer that would be good to pray as a family.
National Day of Prayer put out these points to pray for our country.
Those are great ideas to pray to celebrate our freedom as Americans.
But what about the other freedom we enjoy? Our freedom in Christ
because of his death on the cross?
“For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.” Rom 8:2 ESV
Have you been set free from the law of sin and death? If so today is a good day to celebrate that along with celebrating the freedoms we enjoy as Americans.
