I baked the most amazing cookies today!
What does that have to do with school?
Well, my young adults were out serving and studying today so I took advantage of that opportunity to have some cookies baking when they walked in from being gone for hours. I enjoyed the look on their faces as they walked through the door. It was even better when I answered their question, “Who are those for?” with “You!”.
This is the easiest cookie recipe ever and you don’t have to give up taste, or smell, for it being easy. Better yet, they are gluten free and can be dairy free if you use dairy free chocolate chips, found in the health food department of your favorite store.
You can mix them up in minutes and it makes a small batch so you can bake a large pan full and be done with just enough hot cookies for a snack – depending on the size of your family, of course. They’re also easy enough that your budding young baker could make them with supervision.
Unbelievable Cookies
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
½ tsp. Vanilla
1 egg
Chocolate chips
Mix together. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Makes 2 dozen
